Our Partnership Board has representatives from business, universities, councils and Local Enterprise Partnerships. Transport, energy, manufacturing, agriculture, marine and space sectors are all represented. The Board works with Government and champions our incredible region on a national and international level.

Strategy

The potential for the Great South West is huge. Our activity includes:

  • Working with MPs and Ministers to seize opportunities, tackle challenges and champion our region
  • Focusing on people and skills - particularly green and blue sector needs
  • Delivering research, data and insight e.g. energy production, investment opportunities, infrastructure
  • Supporting our world-class research and innovation, helping universities, innovation companies and partners join forces to maximise opportunities
  • #BackTheGreatSouthWest campaign - raising the profile of our region, uniting businesses and communities to achieve more together
